Yebba: Dawn

Dawn, Yebba's highly anticipated first album, is a deeply personal work inspired by the singer's experiences with loss, recovery, discovery and hope.

To build excitement for its launch, and help fans emotionally connect to the artist and her music, we set about creating a space where they could explore the many unique influences behind it.

Built from the artist's own collection of handwritten notes, photographic memories and individually curated playlists, we used light gradients, scrapbook-style layouts and subtle animations to invoke a sense of nostalgia in visitors, drawing them further into Yebba's story.

Set to a soundtrack of teasers from the new album, the archive was also launched in stages, mimicking the singer's journey from a time of darkness to one of light. Each time fans were invited to return they found more memories had been revealed, while one's they had seen previously had now faded into the past.
