Flood the Streets

It can be easy to think of climate change as a distant phenomenon. But it is dangerously close to us all. In the UK, flood risks have increased exponentially over the past decade, creating an all too real consequence of climate emergency.

To wake people up to the climate catastrophe in our own country, we redesigned the official flood warning symbol to incorporate iconic monuments from across the UK, from the Gherkin in London to Blackpool Tower, the Liver Building and the Angel of the North.

During the Climate Strike of 2019, we took to the streets, mounting our signs on placards. Our designs were shared by The Evening Standard, People Magazine, The Huffington Post, NBC News, Business in the Community: The Prince's Responsible Business Network and more.
